Stay & tastings
Sleep among the wine barrels
A guest room above the tasting hall, on a small organic estate at Steinheim.
Walking the Mullerthal Trail? We open our new cellar on 21 June 2026 — and above the tasting hall, we are fitting out a single guest room. Not a hotel, no reception desk. Just a quiet room with a view over the oak barrels, five minutes by car from the trail entrance at Echternach.

Tasting
Tasting wine straight from the barrel
Three or four times a year, we open the tasting hall to the public. Between those dates, a private tasting can be arranged for our guests on request.
Stay
Sleeping above the wine barrels
Our tasting hall fills three or four times a year, when we host our tastings; the rest of the year, it stands empty. That is exactly the idea we had from the start: design the space so it doubles as lodging. Above the hall, with a clear view of the oak barrels where our wine matures, we are setting up a single guest room. A bed for two, a small bathroom, a kitchen corner with the essentials. Beneath you: the barrels of Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Crémant — meaning that the very vines you see from your door, up on the Hoelt slope, end up as wine underneath your bedroom. Hikers usually arrive in the late afternoon, tired and damp; we are setting aside a drying room for boots and jackets, and breakfast can be on the table from 7:30. This is not a three-star concierge concept, just an honest stay at a small family estate — the kind of lodging that keeps coming up in Mëllerdall walker reviews: a roof with a character, the same one from season to season.
